I like to blur the line between reality and fiction. I don't always focus the lens just so; I leave room for abstractions and blurred lines, parallax errors and bent angles. We do not see what is real; we see what we are.
My name is Juliya Ziskina. I'm not a studio photographer, landscape shooter, or even a traditional photographer. I do what I love and that is the element in every photograph that passes through the shutter. It's tinted with a shade of filter, a hint of attention, an array of passion, and a mountain of love. It lies in all of us. What's an image without the joy of love, the clarity of thought, the ecstasy of passion?
I've been shooting for a few years, straight out of the darkroom with a 35mm in hand. Although film photography still has a soft spot in my heart, I've moved on to digital photography and the limitless opportunities it offers. No photograph has boundaries. No idea has an end.
Show me how it is and I'll show you who you are.
